Pricing and Ordering
Light™ (Light3 and Light2) software can be further extended by user activation of Light3 Web Publishing, CCAS's embedded electronic timekeeping, labor cost management and "manloading" (mapping of employees and employee hours to projects and labor categories) system. Light Collaborative will be integrated into Light3 Web Publishing, via a CCAS's Harvest™ project, in late 2010.
Pricing of Light™ software, annual maintenance and support, options, and Light3 Web Publishing (electronic timekeeping) is available upon request.
Light adapts to your accounting requirements, however diverse they might be. For example, a firm that never had to be concerned with government contracts accounting requirements - but that was just awarded a government contract - can have a complete (DCAA compliant) government contracts job cost accounting system up-and-running with a couple of mouse clicks. Overnight. That afternoon. Now. By design, the potential is already "there".
At the core of Light is the General Ledger Accounts "Cycle". All system output has, at its core, individual entries to accounts in the general ledger.
In Light's proprietary accounting model, each general ledger account is a "super" account (Salaries Expense, for example). Accounts will have classifications associated with them: Income Statement; Cost of Sales, in this example. The account may also have special properties (Labor; Direct - On-Site), and the user may determine the actions that may be "applied" to the account. These actions are the "methods" associated with each of Light's “Cycles”. Sales (Accounts Receivable), Cash, and Reporting, are examples of “Cycles”.
So Light's power is centrally located: accessible, straight-forward and clear. The needs of simple and complex operations are satisfied at once. And because changing an account's properties or methods never alters the account's transactions, you have truly flexible accounting and reporting power at your immediate disposal.
Light’s screen-driven interface helps insure that answers to questions asked of any account(s) or transaction(s) is immediately available. Again, it's right there in front of you. As a result, Light's ease-of-use and audit trails are unsurpassed.
